Has anyone read “Toxin” by Robin Cook?
I have read a few of his books and am just starting “Toxin” but I find that the dialogue is unrealistic and it is getting in the way of my enjoyment of the book. The premise of the book is good, though, so I want to keep reading, but I’m struggling due to the stilted passages. Has anyone read this? Is it worth finishing? Has anyone else had this experience with any of his books? I’ve had this experience with James Patterson, also, and ended up not reading “Mary Mary” even though I was interested in the plot. Anyone with any similar experiences?
