my question my doc said it’s not cancer could someone explain this PATHOLOGY REPORT or have any input, also i do not have insurance can i get insurance husband and i both are are out of work and can’t afford cobra premiums
Your husband is having Chronic Active Gastritis and which is secondary to Helicobacter Pylori. The triple therapy given to your husband is the standard treatment for its eradication.
Also the gastric biopsy which shows MALT can be secondary to the intense infection by Helicobacter Pylori. This is the reason the doctor has put him on the treatment.
After the course is over, he,may need a maintenance dose for some time. This is little to worry for the time being.
If untreated such patients may progress to malignancy, or may have acute ulceration.
